My name is Chris Burford and I have been a DJ for nearly 30 years and a full-time DJ for the past 3.

After providing my services for lots of different functions over the past few years, I felt that it was time to concentrate on specialising in the functions I enjoy most, and they are Weddings.

I offer my experience and time to provide you with wedding reception entertainment which is tailored to your exact requirements and ensures for a memorable wedding day. From your first enquiry and subsequent confirmation of the last dance at your wedding reception, I make every effort to ensure you have a stress free time.

YOUR wedding day is probably the most important day of your life and choosing the right DJ can make or break your big day, and that’s why I insist on a no obligation client consultation which can be arranged soon after your enquiry either at the venue or your home. I gather as much information about you as necessary and answer any questions you have about me and the type of disco entertainment I offer.

I know how difficult it can be to choose the right entertainment and I will work with you to provide the type of disco you want rather than one that other DJ’s say you’ll have.

Sound and lighting is tailored to your wedding requirements. I frequently use subtle up-lighting rather than the usual flashing scanners most DJ's use as I feel that weddings are more personal and lighting should be ambient rather than over - powering. After all the most important people at your wedding are YOU and not the DJ.


As well as providing music I also offer DVD playback facilities which also allows J-Peg photos to be shown. Playback can be viewed either by two 19’’ TV monitors or large projection screen. This is an ideal addition and not only gives you the chance to see your photos straight away (dependant on photographer) but also gives your evening guests the chance to see your wedding ceremony etc.

All of my bookings are subject to contract and you have a 14 day cooling off period once the contract has arrived at your door.

Music
Music is the priority at any disco and I allow all of my clients to provide play-lists, and the guests to request songs.

Lighting
 I have a variety of professional lighting effects available to suit your venue and wedding theme.

Sound
Sound quality is very important and I use Professional Mackie Speakers.
All my music is stored on CD, memory cards and memory sticks, I do use a Laptop to provide music if required during the wedding breakfast.

My fees reflect my professional service, so please call me for a quotation.
You can book a DJ who can do a wedding or pay a little extra to hire a professional wedding DJ.

Andover Wedding DJ’s are fully insured with over £10 million public liability portable appliance tested equipment and also carry a Video Performance licence and Pro-dub licence.

Andover Wedding DJ’s are available for Civil Ceremonies

We also offer full disco & video packages with professional videographer to capture your special day on DVD.
